Leaving Day. We made our way out of Atlanta, through Chattanooga to the KOA in Manchester, Tennessee, arriving at 5:45 pm Central time. Four hours driving time. After crossing the Tennessee River, the RV had to pull us and the Colorado over the ridge. The GPS showed us climbing to 1,972 feet before dropping back to around 700 feet elevation. Very poor gas mileage today. It was my first visit to a KOA.

Haven’t you found some of those KOA like golf courses on your way yet? Sure I’m glad you got out of town before all this rain hit the gulf. Really like the look of your rig although I don’t envy the handling characteristics or gas mileage. Looks like you’re having a great time.
